A shuttle bus service will be running from The Electric Cinema, Station Street, Birmingham B5 4DY to Flickerama and returning to The Electric. Tickets are £10 per person for the round trip..
Friday: Leaves The Electric at 7pm, then leaves Flickerama at midnight, returning approximately 12.30am
Saturday: Leaves The Electric at 11.15am, then leaves Flickerama at 8pm and Midnight, returning approximately 12.30am
Sunday: No service
There is no camping at these three events. Birmingham and Redditch are within a taxi journey from the site. There are several B&B’s and reasonably priced hotels near to the festival.
There is on-site parking. Parking tickets need to be purchased prior to arrival.
You will receive an e-ticket via email following your online purchase. Please print this and bring to the event.
Please bring a blanket or picnic chair to sit on. VIP ticket holders will be allocated seating at screenings on a first come first served basis.
Food and Drink
Hot and cold food stalls will be on site. Picnics are allowed but please note that no glass of any kind is allowed on site including bottles of wine or beer. All drinks must be in plastic or cans. Bags will be checked entering the festival site and any alcohol consumed must be bought on the premises.
As with all British summer outdoor festivals, the event will still go ahead regardless of the weather. Please check the weather forecast in advance and come prepared.
Children are very welcome. Please note that one under 16 will be admitted to the festival unless accompanied by an adult. Please be aware that children must adhere to the film’s certification and will be removed from screenings if they are under the certified age. Please bring photo ID with you if you feel your child may appear younger than the film’s certification.
Smoking is not permitted in the indoor marquees but is permitted outdoors.
Flickerama is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
